GEB alumnus Arif as a ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ sceintist

It is a great pride to let everyone know that  G. M. Mahmud Arif Pavel (GEB-7th batch), a former student of the Department of Genetic  Engineering  and Biotechnology has been selected as a ‘Forbes 30 under 30’  scientist for the year of 2019. Every year Forbes magazine selects promising figure in different categories.  Arif was selected as an emerging scientist for his achievement in research on ion channels.  Arif achieved his PhD from St. John’s University, New York. He is doing his post doctoral research at the Scripps Research Institute, Jupiter, Florida.  Arif’s achievement has brought a great joy in the GEB family. We wish him all the best in the future.
